Robert Stronge's Mix N Match faces no easy task giving weight away all round in this selling handicap hurdle and a better bet in a moderate contest in terms of quality looks to be SILVER BLUE, who gets the vote over Star Galaxy. The last mentioned is 3lbs lower than when a close second behind Moon Melody at Cartmel last year but he has not had a great deal of racing since then and looks best watched after two below par efforts this term. Canni Thinkaar has slipped to a fair mark but is hard to back with confidence following recent outings, while Lady Korrianda has been running creditably of late but remains a maiden. Present Oriented is not as good as he was and has dropped down the weights as a result so he cannot be discounted off a career low mark but needs to step up on recent form to trouble the judge. The market should be watched closely for Barney Curley's reappearing Zabeel Palace but a safer option looks to be Silver Blue. Keith Goldsworthy's gelding is less exposed than most of these over hurdles, ran well when last seen over them as he did in a recent start on the level and he looks worth siding with.
