Ruby Delta was knocking at the door in maidens prior to not being disgraced behind the handicap blot Gothenburg at Newbury last time. He has form enough to go well today. Andrasta has suggested ability and Bathwick Icon showed some debut promise. Brave Mave finished in the ruck on her Newmarket debut behind the useful Laureldean Gale but is open to improvement, and Sylvester Kirk's Moment's Notice is among the interesting newcomers. Soggy Dollar showed improved form to finish second over course and distance last time. although the value of the race is a little hard to work out, while Suzi's Decision ran green at first but then stayed on for a never-nearer finish on her racecourse debut and should have better to come. Overall, though, in a race that seems to lack strength in depth, the selection is Ruby Delta.
