In race two, Don'tcallmeginger is selected ahead of A Mothers Love and Icannshift. Don'tcallmeginger has improved of late, winning from a mark of 52 before running well from today's mark at Beverley last time. He still looks competitive today at this level and can go well. Course winner Sand Repeal is now rated four pounds above a winning mark so has to find extra if he is going to win today, while Montchara has not yet built on his April win but at least he showed a bit more sparkle last time at Newmarket and steps up in trip today. Bienhereux is another course and distance winner who needs a career-best effort if he is going to win, a similar comment applying to three-time course and distance scorer Icannshift. Lysander's Quest looks to have regressed of late but Rumbled seemed to show improved form in first-time headgear at Bath last time and could have better to come. A Mothers Love can also not be ruled out based on her best efforts of May and June but, for the selection, we will stick with Don'tcallmeginger.
