Verdict
There aren't many that can be seriously considered and we'll take YARRA RIVER to get the better of Abriachan and Chocolate Cookie. Richard Hannon has a good line on the market rival to Chocolate Cookie as he has sent out both Lucky General and Stags Leap to get the better of Andrew Balding's charge whilst he was also represented in the Epsom race in which Yarra River took third. That form sets a decent standard although the selection is officially rated just 7lbs higher than the Hannon runner yet has to concede 10lbs. A literal reading of those figures clearly brings Chocolate Cookie into the equation and she looks sure to benefit from stepping up in trip having found five at Windsor too sharp following a big run in the Super Sprint; she merits plenty of respect. Abriachan returned a beaten favourite from Wolverhampton but that experience is unlikely to have been lost on him and he should win races although he looks a shade unfortunate to have been found a competitive enough heat here. Bramshill Lady is another that should relish the longer trip, Cornish Beau is entitled to improve but they have plenty to find. Given the form lines that Richard Hannon has, it may be best to go with the flow if the money arrives for Chocolate Cookie but Yarra River gets the nod for now.
