Verdict

There isn't an awful lot to separate those with experience and it may be worth taking a chance with TA ALEEM now that the trainer has found some form. Truly Asia is rated 2lbs higher than Orthology who is, in turn, 2lbs higher than the first-time visored Entreat whilst Mayolynn has 8lbs to find with the lowest rated runner. Roger Charlton's charge failed to take advantage of what appeared to be a decent opportunity at Thirsk and is now stepped up to a trip that isn't certain to suit. Orthology has failed to build on a promising juvenile season, including in blinkers last time, and has plenty to prove although he may have benefitted from being given a break and dropped in trip. Entreat ran a decent race on her handicap bow having failed to cope with Brighton so she has more going for her than most whilst the visor could bring about further improvement as it did for Mayolynn who returned to form on heavy ground at Leicester. The quicker ground should suit Henry Cecil's filly a little better but she has a good bit to find on the book. Folkestone hasn't been a happy hunting ground for Marcus Tregoning in recent years but he introduces a beautifully bred filly and it will be job done if Ta Aleem can make a winning bow.
