SITWELL shapes as though he'll stay this far and is suggested as an alternative to Rough Sketch and Ubiquitous. James Fanshawe's charge does have a little to prove as his recent, slightly improved performances have been on easier ground than he's likely to encounter here but the yard are going well and he was doing his best work at the finish over nine at Yarmouth. Sir Mark Prescott is firing in the winners with customary regularity and many won't want to look beyond Rough Sketch who finally got it right at Brighton when beating Penang Cinta who has won twice since. He's only 4lbs higher so has the look of a good thing but he benefited from a good ride that day and wouldn't be one to trust implicitly. Ubiquitous is in the form of her life at present and remains feasibly treated following a 3lb rise for her head defeat by the in-form Hollow Green. She should go well again whilst Golden Games and Medieval Maiden are respected having run well when last seen; Classical Rhythm also found a little form last time out and could be a threat if building on that whilst Great Bounder is unexposed and may have needed his reappearance. This could be trappy but Sitwell may be worth chancing.
