FUNDAY looks a fair prospect and may be able to overcome her initial mark. Hallstatt is an obvious threat with the likes of Al Qeddaaf and Ballet Dancer also worthy of respect. Gary Moore's Daylami filly caught the eye in a Sandown maiden that lacked strength in depth and proved that she wasn't flattered by the run when running out a ready winner of a Lingfield maiden. The second went on to win next time out to give the form a boost and Funday doesn't appear to have been overburdened by the assessor. This will provide a stiffer test of her credentials and Hallstatt is certainly a worthy opponent who is unlikely to be easy to pass from near the head of proceedings but he's clearly vulnerable from his present perch. Rain would suit Al Qeddaaf who landed a touch at Yarmouth before coming up short at Newmarket; the suspicion remains that he's capable of better and the longer trip could bring about further improvement. It's no surprise to see Dome Rocket fitted with cheekpieces and he could find this more competitive than he cares for. Andhaar and Cruikadyke are others that look vulnerable in this company but Ballet Dancer did enough on her penultimate start to think that she could have a say in the outcome. However, she didn't do enough to earn the vote ahead of Funday.
