The final race on the card is the most competitive of all, with many in with chances, but our vote goes the way of Intriguing Glimpse ahead of Mandarin Spirit, Dart Along and Willhewiz to mention but a few. In a fairly big field it is hard to be totally confident, but there is no getting away from the fact that Intriguing Glimpse ran a blinder at Sandown last time out. Brooke Sanders' four-year-old came out of stall two so had it to do to begin with, and was then the victim of trouble in running, not once but twice before finishing fast to be third, beaten a short-head and a neck behind The Jobber. That was no mean performance given that he was upped two grades for an earlier class 5 success at Lingfield, and now dropped a level, he can put matters right. Mandarin Spirit met the inconsistent Trojan Flight on one of his good days at Catterick, and can be involved along with Dart Along,a beaten favourite behind Bird Over here a fortnight ago. The front-running tactics of Willhewiz failed to pay off at Salisbury last time, but the step back up to six furlongs will help his cause. Pomfret Lad finished third behind a lesser-rated rival at Haydock last week, but Jamie Spencer should give his all in the saddle, and so is another not to leave out of calculations, but we are happy to side with Intriguing Glimpse.
