Trojan Flight has not been the easiest to catch right but everything fell right for him at Catterick last time and he remains potentially well treated off just a 4lb higher mark today and is preferred to two other last time out winner Partners In Jazz and Who's Winning. The last mentioned is now 5lbs higher than when scoring at Newmarket last time and needs a career best performance to win this so may be best watched. David Nicholls saddles no fewer than five runners with marginal preference among his quintet for recent Doncaster winner Machinist, who will relish the fast ground more than the likes of Continent and Gift Horse. David Barron's Rising Shadow has more to do under his penalty than when winning at Newcastle last time and of more interest may be stablemate Partners In Jazz, who beat a big field at Ripon last time but is another for who the going may be too quick. The vote then goes to Trojan Flight, who will not mind the conditions and holds solid claims at the weights, if everything drops right for him again.
