It is hard to escape the claims of Front Stage, who caught the eye when he was last seen out and he is expected to make his mark now that he is a year further down the line. Strawberry Leaf ran respectably on her debut and, along with First Show, it is worth bearing in mind how the market speaks about her before the off. Pinpoint and Jamaar are newcomers that are also worth noting in running, as each is expected to benefit greatly from the experience this evening. First Show was forced to race wide on his first outing a had expended too much energy when he was asked for extra near the finish. He has plenty of scope for improvement, though, and it will be no surprise to see him put in a better display today. However, Front Stage was a fine physical specimen the last time he was seen out and is fully expected to thrive during his three-year-old campaign - especially under the masterly guidance of Sir Michael Stoute.
