Crocodile Bay looks to be going the right way at present and Jamie Osborne's colt is taken to confirm Goodwood superiority over Green Pride, with Ba Foxtrot rated the best of the remainder. The selection stepped up on debut form with wins at Windsor and Doncaster before staying on strongly to claim second close home behind Strike Up The Band at Goodwood last time, with Green Pride behind and strictly held. The longer trip today should suit the son of Spectrum, who is taken to resume winning ways. David Nicholls, who trains Strike Up The Band, should have a good line to the selection for his contender Capital Lass but she needs to improve on the form shown when landing a Musselburgh maiden. Bath winner Danish Express comes from a yard that is doing well with their juveniles this term and may be better than likely odds would suggest, while Royal Engineer is likely to improve again as most of the stable's youngsters do with experience. Wotavadun faces no easy task first time up and of more interest my be Ba Foxtrot, who represents the yard of Mick Channon that has been doing particularly well with their two-year-olds this term but has a penalty to carry. Crocodile Bay has an obvious chance on the evidence of his latest start though and he gets the vote.
