Border Edge might provide the answer here, with Lizarazu, Franksalot, Balerno and Dragon Slayer rated as the main dangers. The selection races here from the same mark as when scoring at Lingfield over seven furlongs in May. However, he stays this trip well and also has a course win to his name. For us, that all adds up to a decent run being expected. Of course, Lizarazu rates a big danger as the six-year-old comes here seeking a third-successive win. The latest of them came on his first run for his current trainer, and he scored well. However, he has a nine-pound ratings rise to contend with, but we certainly do not rule him out on that basis. Franksalot also likes it here, although he is towards the top end of what he has recently achieved, but Balerno has proven himself competitive from his current mark and, in a modest event, comes firmly into the reckoning. Dragon Slayer has performed a lot better in cheekpieces of late and, although not proven at today's trip, has to be considered. Mister Elegant is blinkered for the first time but they will need to help a lot, while Kindness goes well at this type of venue but will need to build on his recent best. With Ghasiba having yet to build on her two-year-old form, we return to the selection, which is Border Edge.
