Figjam gets the call here ahead of King Malachi, Mr Rooney, Verite and Qusoor. Seven pounds higher than when scoring at Leicester two runs ago, Figjam was out of his depth at Goodwood last time but will be more at home in this company and can go well. Mr Rooney's form entitles him to a place chance while King Malachi has disappointed in his last two runs but, back at the scene of his finest hour so far, he has to come well into the reckoning. Qusoor won a routine maiden last time and is open to improvement, but will need to find it to score, while a drop of three pounds will help Verite's cause and he steps up to six furlongs for the first time today. Fratt'n Park actually ran well for a long way at Goodwood last time but, along with Blue Jeans, who was behind Figjam at Lingfield last time, he needs to find more to score. Overall, then, the vote goes to Figjam.
