Verdict

All winners in this race and Wildcat Wizard is our selection ahead of Daddy's Gift and Motor Home. Wildcat Wizard proved easy to back on introduction at York but the horse did not know his price and he relished every yard on the Knavesmire. Daddy's Gift always looked as if the minimum trip would be too sharp and having won a muddling affair at Lingfield, he looks entirely progressive. Motor Home won a firm ground maiden at Thirsk. This is something of an ask in stepping up to Novice stakes grade. Prime Spirit¿s dam stayed over two miles so seven furlongs wouldn¿t be a problem. Calley Ho was fortuitous in victory at Hamilton. Nevertheless he deserves his place in this line up. Mister Green won well on debut at Great Leighs and looks to have a future at the game. Wildcat Wizard has marginally the best profile of this sextet and we side with him to follow up his York success.
