Chilly Filly will be popular and Hunters Belt also has claims but two interesting newcomers to the handicap ranks have made the journey north from Newmarket and OLD HUNDRED is suggested ahead of Invitee. James Fanshawe's runner showed promise in a maiden over course and distance on his second outing before finishing down the field in a decent contest at Newbury. His mark looks no more than fair but it will be disappointing if this close relative of George Washington can't find some improvement for the move into this company. Invitee is also, not surprisingly, well related and should go well as she steps up in trip on a track that should suit but she will need to settle better than she did at Warwick. Chilly Filly looked like making a winning return at Pontefract before shying away from the whip and losing valuable momentum suggesting that she may not be without her quirks. Hunters Belt has some solid runs to his name and Molton Labe is better than he showed last time but Old Hundred is fancied to improve sufficiently to open his account.
