STEFANKI is the call with Grand Zafeen and Lady Berta offered up as alternatives. George Baker was quick to post a number of entries for the Danehill Dancer gelding but this race has cut up badly and his stable apprentice, Matthew Davies is able to claim 3lb against other inexperienced riders. He has shown some aptitude for racing on the turf in the past so we are confident that he can transfer the promise of his Lingfield victory. Grand Zafeen appreciates genuinely firm ground. Connections will be hoping that the rain stays as far away from Folkestone as is possible. Lady Berta comes under the category of being unexposed. She was some way behind in a York maiden behind Christmas Light so the market will tell us whether the handicapper has allocated a fair mark or not.
