Marcus Tregoning's Haadeeth never looked like troubling the judge in a Listed race at Lingfield last month and may do better back in a handicap today but it is hard to get away from JARROW, who can follow up his recent impressive Kempton success and he gets the vote ahead with Ventura Cove rated the best of the rest. The selection was very disappointing when turned over at odds of 1/4 in a conditions race at Lingfield in November but the son of Shamardal showed his true ability when winning with any amount in hand at Kempton last month going clear inside the final furlong and he can follow up off a 7lb higher mark. Kevin Ryan's Raddy 'ell Pauline disappointed here last time and is hard to back with confidence, while James Fanshawe's Deacon Blues looks to be too high in the weights for what he has achieved so far. Sir Michael Stoute's Alice Alleyne looks to be going the right way and seems reasonably well treated on a mark of 77 for his first start in a handicap but more solid claims are held by Ventura Cove. Richard Fahey can do little wrong with his runners at present and the son of Bahamian Bounty has to be respected on his handicap debut off what seems a fair mark but he will need to run well to get the better of the selection, Jarrow.
