Verdict

William Haggas is in good form at present and RESPITE can provide him another winner, Floor Show and Maxwell Hawke look the main dangers. The selection won well last month at Kempton when she overcame a poor draw to score in quite cosy fashion. She is making her handicap debut tonight but she looks a smart prospect and she has a good draw and she should run a big race. Floor Show hails from a yard that merits plenty of respect in these type of events and this colt showed improved form to win a handicap at Newcastle last month. He shapes as though he still has a bit of maturing to do but he is on an upward curve and he can go well. Maxwell Hawke won his maiden in good style last time and the handicapper looks to have given him a chance tonight. Brierty has a good draw and if she is fit enough to do herself justice on her seasonal return then she would have a chance. This is an open event and the vote goes to Respite.
