STRICTLY gets the vote in this maiden over the likes of Badge and Lochan Mor. The selection is likely to be a warm order here and it was only her inexperience that beat her on her seasonal return at Nottingham last time when she chased home Gilt Edge Girl. She should come on for that and she looks quite useful so although the draw could have been kinder she still should take plenty of beating. Badge is a well-bred colt but he blew his chance at the start on his debut at Bath. He will probably be better over further in time but he will have learned a lot for his introduction to the racecourse and he is not one to dismiss lightly. Lochan Mor is making his racecourse bow here and from a good draw he is certainly worth considering. The fact that the yard are beginning to fire in the winners is another reason for optimism. Brian Smart does well with his sprinters so Monsieur Harvey could be of interest if he can build on the promise he showed on his debut. However, it will take a good one to beat Strictly who gets the confident vote.
