Invisible Man blotted his copybook at Kempton and ready preference is for MERDAAM although it will be interesting to see if there's any confidence behind Kapsiliat on his return. Invisible Man has returned a beaten favourite on each of his three starts and, although there was no disgrace in the second of those defeats, he has some big questions to answer now. Kapsiliat is related to winners and was well supported on her sole start at two; she clearly didn't live up to expectations but the run was not without promise. There may not be too much strength in depth here and a Newbury maiden won by the exciting Bridge Of Gold could hold the key. Present Alchemy finished a creditable 9 length sixth and should improve but he has ground to make up on Merdaam. John Dunlop's charge stayed on well without troubling the front two but that was a decent effort and Merdaam may not need to improve on that form to score.
