This is a very competitive handicap and we will side with PICKERING to get the better of Bo McGinty and High Curragh. The selection ran well from out of the handicap at Ripon last month when finishing third in a race won by High Curragh. On these terms he is entitled to reverse the form with Kevin Ryan's 6-year-old who should also be thereabouts at the finish. Bo McGinty has been a grand servant to connections and he has been in good form of late. His best recent efforts have been over the minimum trip and on that basis he is narrowly passed over tonight. David Nicholls continues in good form and Gift Horse has won over this course and distance so he is another who could be capable of troubling the judge John Quinn has also got his string in good form so Dig Deep could go well at a price, but for the winner it could pay to side with Pickering.
