Captain Jameson won the closing 6f nursery on this card a year ago and was again successful over that trip at York last month. Tough Remedy was having only his second start since January when scoring over the track and trip a fortnight ago and a 3lb hike in the ratings is hardly likely to prevent another big run. Presidential has won around here though is now on his highest ever mark and all five victories have been in lower grade. The Gates Of Dawn, a winner in France, showed his first sign of form for George Baker at Kempton and should be capable of better. Graphite Storm has returned to his best and recent placed efforts at Newbury and Ascot set him up for a big run but a chance in a wide-open contest is taken with RECKLESS ENDEAVOUR. David Barron's charge last won a race at Lingfield in February but has spent all summer racing in top handicaps and has now dropped to his lowest ever mark.
