Dazzling Dan has done nothing wrong in his three starts over this trip but is looking exposed and vulnerable to a lightly-raced type or a newcomer. Purbeck Hills looked in need of the experience at Newmarket but showed up nicely and there's much more to come as there is for Fox Shinji, who was in the front rank for a long way at Redcar before fading. Night Secret made an encouraging start at Lingfield though didn't make the expected progress at Newmarket but Total Commitment showed up well at Kempton and will have come on markedly for the run. Bataar's dam won over 1m4f so he may need further in time but SPEED KING is a half-brother to four winning sprinters and out of a 5f Listed winner so he should have pace to burn and gets the vote to make a successful debut from a yard in top form.
