Verdict

DONJUAN TRIUMPHANT (NAP) is the highest rated here and takes a major drop in class after cracking efforts in the British Champions Sprint at Ascot and the Sprint Cup at Haydock. Both those races were run on testing ground so some rain would aid his cause but his overall form gives him the edge. Librisa Breeze was well supported in the former of those Group 1's but was never going the pace and was beaten 10l at the finish. The three-year-old Laugh A Minute beat three rivals over the course and distance in August before a very good run in a Group 3 at Deauville so looks a threat along with Could It Be Love, runner-up in the Irish 1000 Guineas before placed behind Expert Eye in the Jersey Stakes. Irish raider Downforce would need a downpour to bring out the best in him while Hey Jonesy, who ran well on soft going at Ascot last time, is well held by the selection on their run in the Sprint Cup.
