Verdict

GRAND SANCY got off the mark in a decent handicap at Chepstow last month before finding only one too good in a Listed race at Kempton in which the first two pulled well clear. He is rated a stone superior to Shiroccan Roll, beaten at Worcester after scoring at Newton Abbot, but is only conceding 4lb. Kilbrew Boy may prove the pick of the hurdling newcomers ahead of Brigade of Guards.
