          Verdict

          Castleshane was favoured by the draw when he was successful here at the end of last month and will do well to get an easy lead from stall 13 today. He is also a quirky character and his tendency to find one more determined in a battle tempers the confidence in this competitve heat. Madeline Bassett also has questions to answer with regard to her resolution after a disappointing effort last time - when she found precious little when trying to reel in the leaders close home. Glen Vale Walk, Graft and Munadil are other that come into the race with something to prove and may be best watched today. Therefore a chance is taken that Warning Reef can exploit a handy looking mark and finally bring to an end a frustrating two-year losing run. The gelding put in a confidence boosting performance in a claimer last time and will be supported by TEAMtalk if the indications from the market speak in his favour. Young Rosein and Archirondel Archirondel are other to consider for each way money.
