Another typically competitve sprint handicap which, by rights, should be reflected in the betting market. Flak Jacket is a horse that needs little introduction and comes into the race with very solid claims on the pick of his form. He has also been lucky with regard to his position in the stalls and he should be able to hold his own again from the box draw. The weights suggest that Corridor Creeper, Wicked Uncle and Beyond Calculation all have a bit to find with David Nicholls' charge and he is too hard to oppose in this company. Rita's Rock Ape could go well at a decent price if the ground stays in her favour, but her style of running could provide the ideal race conditions for Flak Jacket. The inconsistency of Sir Sandrovitch and Time N Time Again makes it difficult to recommend them as anything other than speculative each way hopes.
