MORROCHIUS can continue to progress up the handicap with Petomic and Mighty Mover on the list of dangers. Julie Camacho's gelding has been cannily campaigned this spring by the North Yorkshire based handler and with the handicapper likely to offer further rises in the future, he is taken to strike again before they take effect. Petomic landed a substantial gamble at the course at the Bank Holiday meeting. He would have obvious claims again if the rain stays away. Mighty Mover has dropped down the weights and the booking of David Probert is interesting given that the horse has been tried over further under apprentice handling. Kargan has gone up the weights without winning so that ranking of 64 by the assessor makes limited appeal to us. Benozzo Gozzoli represents fairly illustrious connections but he has failed to sparkle on the racecourse as yet. Magroom is perfectly capable of landing a race of this nature though is somewhat inconsistent. Morrochius is the percentage call.
