In depth

Verdict

A fairly ugly looking seller and STAND IN FLAMES can be put forward as only the most token of picks with Breadstick and Blue Noodles others to make the cut of our shortlist. George Baker's charge won a heavy ground seller at Leicester before disappointing in a handicap at this course next time out. The trainer is not in the habit of making rash entries so this drop in grade and hopefully a little bit of precipitation should prove an ideal combination. Breadstick is in first time headgear. The tonguestrap that accompanied her first run is absent despite running up to a decent level in it last time out. Blue Noodles is likeable enough though seems to need everything to go his way. Hillside Lad is likely to take him on for early pace and this inmate of Ralph Beckett is certainly of interest having been dropped into plating company in spite of making all to win a handicap. Rock Art appears not to have trained on but this well bred filly is sure to have no shortage of admirers. Pintano is better than his latest effort suggests though at these terms, he will need to run a career best. Stand In Flames is not without negatives but she is proven at this grade and we will not discount her on the basis of one poor run.
