BLAZING BUCK comes from a yard that are in good form this summer and is given the vote to land this seller at the expense of Waterside and Don Pietro. The selection did win as a two year old last season but has struggled off his handicap rating ever since. Although he has fallen in the weights over the past few months he will be more at home in this selling grade and if anywhere near his best he ought to go close to winning again. Waterside was once a decent handicapper winning off a mark of 100 two seasons ago. Since then he has been contesting in claiming and selling races with success. He has performed well in the past on rain softened ground so any market moves should be noted. Don Pietro won a similar race at Bath last time out. He does carry a penalty for his troubles however which will make life tougher for him but Tony Culhane is an eye catching jockey booking. At the weights Blazing Buck looks well treated and for that reason he gets out vote.
