DREAMS JEWEL has been running well on the flat this summer and can win again over hurdles while both Blacktoft, Deadline and Sweet World are likely to pose as the main dangers. Trainer Craig Roberts has his small team of horses in fine form at present. Dreams Jewel won a hurdle race at Exeter in the spring off a similar mark and has been knocking on the door ever since. He is tough, consistent and is sure to give his fellow supporters another run for their money. Blacktoft was a fair handicapper on the level for Stuart Williams and has continued to improve with experience in his hurdle career. He managed to get his head in front on his third attempt at Worcester and is now nine pounds higher in the weights as a result. Evan Williams is flying high right now so he warrants plenty of respect. Deadline carries a seven pound penalty for winning at Bangor late last week. Whether this race comes too soon remains to be seen. Sweet World is tough and consistent but lacks size and the handicapper has not been kind to him. Dreams Jewel has a nice racing weight to carry and may prove too good for his rivals.
