A poor opener, even by sellers' standards, and we'll take a chance with TUBBY LITTLEJOHNS, ahead of Dream In Blue and Franali. None of these have great form to their name; Dream In Blue has the highest official rating by some distance, but that's due to form earlier in the year in much shorter races on the all-weather. Stepped up to this sort of trip recently he's not fared nearly as well, and has yet to repay connections the 140,000 paid for him. Tubby Littlejohns has only had one run before, and that was a disappointing effort in a bumper. Switching to this code may produce dividends, and it does seem a long way for Bernard Llewellyn to send his charge, and any market support would encourage us further. Market confidence for Franali who's had a lengthy lay-off would be interesting; again, it's a big step up in trip. Jane Chapple-Hyam's more than capable of sending out a winner in this sort of contest, and Classic Dancer is another returning from a break and stepping up in trip, for what's only his third outing and first at this distance and on turf. A very trappy contest; something has to win it though, and we'll side with Tubby Littlejohns.
