OBE GOLD is chasing a hat-trick here and gets our vote, but we expect Turnkey and Rasaman to run him close. Obe Gold was claimed from Dandy Nicholls after winning here recently over the minimum trip, as was his previous success at Hamilton. He's giving weight away to all bar former stablemate Turnkey, who he finished ahead of two years ago in their only head to head. The Nicholls' runner though has a better draw here, and a return to six furlongs at which he was successful on his penultimate start looks a positive move. There's little between Kevin Ryan's two runners, Rasman and High Curragh; the jockey claim on the former could prove decisive, and a first time visor may bring about further improvement. Bottom-weight Ava's Gold is the only course and distance winner in the field, but that was nearly three years ago, since when she's nought from 13. Stonehaugh was a winner last time out, but that was maybe something of a fluke given it was his first triumph in more than three years, but the draw may be against him this time around. It's a trappy claimer, in which we'll side with Obe Gold.
