DARK MOMENT gets a tentative vote in this lowly contest, being marginally preferred to Neo's Mate and It's A Mans World. Dark Moment and Kheskianto are the only runners to have won over this trip, and the remainder have barely had a handful of successes between them. Dark Moment has been inconsistent, but won at Musselburgh before refusing to race. If on his best behaviour, from a very handy draw, he could be good enough. Neo's Mate two career wins have both come here, but over six furlongs in two of her three last outings, and there may be more to come at this sort of level. As long as there's not been too much rain she should get the trip. It's A Man's World is well exposed and would need everything to fall absolutely right to come out on top, but towards the bottom of the weights, the door he's been knocking on could finally swing open at the 14th time of asking. Just Timmy Marcus has looked regressive since winning his first two races, both of which were at Wolverhampton, so a return to the Polytrack may be the way forward for him. Top weight and the high draw both look big negatives for him here. A poor race, with marginal preference for Dark Moment.
