Another seller, and another poor race, but we think NAWAMEES can be home first, and carries our support ahead of Terminate and Love In The West. David Evans' gelding is a consistent sort, particularly at this sort of level, with his 11 career wins on the flat all coming in claimers and sellers. His last win came over course and distance, he's the highest rated and with trainer's son Richard on board, he's off a very competitive weight. Terminate is another model of consistency, with two wins and three places in his last six races. The one blot on the copybook was last time out when dropped in trip to a mile and a quarter, so the return to this distance is a positive move by Ian Williams. One of those placings was behind Nawamees when having plenty in hand at the weights, so he's got a bit to do to reverse that. Love In The West steps back up in trip after surprisingly being dropped to seven furlongs last time out following a win over a mile and a quarter. The in-form stable have previously won this race, and there's probably more improvement to come from her. Freda's Rose hasn't been placed in seven hurdles outings, and has a first go on the flat, but there's nothing to encourage us of a change of fortune. Any Sir Mark Prescott runner deserves at least a second glance, but Ingenue was 13th of 14 on debut last month, and massive improvement would be needed here. Several are capable of winning it if everything falls right, but the one we're siding with is Nawamees.
