Dan Tucker can give weight and a beating all around to Thorny Mandate and Tidy. Dan Tucker was a useful handicapper last season before the handicapper put paid to his winning. The assessor has finally loosened the knot a little and having shown a degree of promise in a similar contest at Pontefract, we are prepared to offer him another chance. Thorny Mandate will be a big player if the going stays on the fast side. His yard are in good nick at present. Tidy is worth another try at the trip having shaped well for a long way in a claimer at the track. Saluscraggie might need it a bit softer in order to show her best form. Marieschi hasn't really captured the imagination over any trip at the present. Ben Bacchus is entirely capable but frustrating. Hugs Destiny should find this trip to the bare minimum of his staying powers. Not the greatest of finales but Dan Tucker has a lot in his favour and can give weight all around.
