Verdict
Barneys Mate, Lowe Go and Adlestrop make most appeal in this handicap hurdle for amateurs', and the vote is given to Barneys Mate. This 8-year-old is chasing the hat-trick today and he won well over this course and distance last time out. He has the same young amateur on board here and he looks to have everything in his favour so a big run is expected. Lowe Go won well at Uttoxeter last time, and although that was an impressive win, it was his first success for three years. He has trip and ground to suit again today so he has to be respected. Adlestrop wasn't disgraced back in third behind Trinity Rose last time but she is a long-standing maiden and she has yet to prove that she sees out this trip. Grave Doubts is a course and distance winner and he could prove best of the others, but for the winner we will stick with Barneys Mate.
