        Verdict

        Rapid Release is the selection in the nursery with Pride Of Kings and Scenic Pass put up as the alternatives. The selection won professionally at Brighton on a day when the conditions were foul and it would be no surprise to see a follow up this afternoon. Pride Of Kings makes a first start in handicaps. His most recent run at Beverley was given a form boost as the fourth came out to win in lesser grade. Mick Channon has won this race before so Scenic Pass has to come into the reckoning. Granted, she is exposed as ordinary but she does stay the trip. Jimwil has been close up on a couple of occasions over six furlongs and looks sure to pick up a race sooner than later. Old Father Zieten shaped with a degree of promise earlier in his career before putting up a stinker at Wolverhampton. The market is watched. The cheaply bought Musical Maze would be of interest were the market to speak in his favour. An ordinary nursery and Rapid Release looks best placed to pick it up.
