Not a strong race by any stretch of the imagination and this looks a good opportunity for Rosehearty to open her account at the main expense of Man Crazy and Tamesis. David Loder's charge made a promising start to her career when chasing home a useful yardstick at Sandown in late May and showed next time that a race of this nature is well within her compass when touched off in a fair York maiden next time out. The step up in trip should suit ideally and the daughter of Rahy looks sure to take plenty of beating at this lower level. Man Crazy has shown a respectable level of form and should be placed to advantage in due course but is a little more exposed than the selection and may have to settle for minor honours on this occasion. Tamesis ran encouragingly on his debut over course and distance but was a shade disappointing next time and her overall form leaves her with something to find on these terms while the remainder look set to struggle and will do better in nurseries.
