Liberty Seeker, Calatagan and Industrial Star are the three to look out for here, and a sporting chance is taken with Industrial Star taken to score. Liberty Seeker won here on his latest outing on the Flat, although that was on softer ground. He has run in the Swinto Hurdle recently, and was not disgraced. he has an admirable wins to runs ratio and is treated with the utmost respect but the ground may be too quick for him here. Malcolm Jefferson's Calatagan will relish the fast ground however and a big run can be expected. He won over fences at Stratford in April and is clearly in good form. Industrial Star is a dual winner over hurdles and is very interesting on his handicap bow. He ran a decent race behind the highly regarded Alfie Flits at Thirsk last time. This is the first time he has been tried over two miles on the Flat but his stamina is guaranteed and the booking of Kevin Darley to take the ride gets the alarm bells ringing. Industrial Star can oblige at a working man's price.
