McEldowney, Toss The Caber and Rare Coincidence are the three that catche the eye here and McEldowney is taken to confirm his liking for the track. Keith Reveley's Toss The Caber improved for a step up in trip last time and as that was only his second outing of the Flat campaign, further improvement can be expected. He won over hurdles last September, and he may appreciate a little further than this sharp one and a half miles. Rare Coincidence is another dual performer. He has shaped well at Wolverhampton on the level, and won his most recent outing over hurdles at Market Rasen. He is clearly in good heart, and seems well treated although his Turf form is taken on trust. Top weight McEldowney is the one they all have to beat. He won four races last summer, and has already won twice this season. His latest success came at the track and although that win came over a longer trip and on slower ground, he is a versatile performer. McEldowney can shrug off a six pound penalty.
