        Verdict

        OFFICER MOR is a speculative choice and gets the nod ahead of Duke Of Rainford and Distant Vision. The last named ran a blinder here last time out and will be a threat if posting a similar performance. With a record of 31 previous runs and no victories to her name, there are sufficient doubts about her ability to deliver, though. Duke Of Rainford has shown flashes of ability and can pay his way again at this level. However, his best efforts have taken place on an artificial surface so he does have a bit to prove on the ground. Embra also comes into the reckoning on the best of his efforts. However, he traditionally needs a couple of runs to put him straight. In which case it can pay to side with Officer More who is steadily coming to hand this term and, as he is ideally berthed in stall nine, the four-year-old would be very difficult to overhaul if he gains an uncontested lead.
