STIR ON THE SEA has obvious claims on these terms and may be able to get the better of Bonzeno Queen and Dream Risk. The Devon based raider arguably brings the best form into this contest and is in receipt of weight from the majority of her rivals so clearly holds outstanding claims. However, she has yet to win a race, was beaten in this grade last time and this track doesn't suit every runner but she still appeals as the one that they have to beat. Bonzeno Queen was well supported ahead of her hurdling bow and clearly appreciated the switch to jumping with an impressive success at Stratford, after which she was bought in for 7,000 guineas. There may well be more to come from her and she appeals as the best alternative to the selection despite conceding weight all round. Dream Risk drops in grade and has shown enough ability to think that she can figure, Pacific Bay is worth a look on her first run over obstacles for her current yard whilst One Under may fare better now hurdling but Stir On The Sea sets the standard and gets the nod.
