COME AND GO has hit form at the right time and is marginally preferred ahead of Jonny Lesters Hair, Salerosa and Arabian Spirit. The last named recently swapped hands for 33,000gns and posted an indication of his well being with a solid debut for Richard Fahey at Ripon last month. Having finished second in the Spring Cup at Newbury last year, he obviously possesses ability and can find a race before too long. He is an interesting campaigner for his syndicate members to shout home - a bold effort from Bollin Dolly (runs in the previous race) would boost his claims no-end. Salerosa improved on the all-weather during the winter and, having won or been placed in 11 of her 21 starts, she cannot confidently be ruled out. Jonny Lesters Hair is another on a good run of form and comes into this on the back of a series of near misses. The handicapper has given him a chance but his lack of recent success underlines how much he needs everything to fall into place for him. However, Come And Go is used to plying his trade in this grade and, as the penny has finally dropped, he can be fancied to cope with top weight at this level.
