Namir will be a popular choice here and he gets our vote too, with Bo McGinty and Hypnosis leading dangers and Abientot another for the short list. The Derek Shaw-trained selection handles this ground and runs over his optimum trip here. He is in good form of late and runs from a fair mark, and that may be all it takes to land what does not appear to be a competitive heat. Bo McGinty has a c&d success to his name and is below his last winning mark now so he could go well, while Hypnosis is in good nick but there is a big question over his ability to handle the ground. Abientot has won on good to soft and defied a lengthy lay off to run creditably at Southwell in January. However, he has not been seen since so has fitness, as much as anything, to prove. It's been a long time between drinks for Artie, but his best form would give him a chance on this ground and he could go well at a big price. However, preference here is for Namir.
