A wide open contest gets proceedings underway and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Im Ova Ere Dad, Desert Island Miss and Mamichor and the vote is given to Im Over Ere Dad. The selection was a fair sixth in a better race behind Night Wolf last time out. The step up in trip looks in his favour and from a good draw he looks the one to be on. Desert Island Miss rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Networker but her best form is over an even longer trip and she is taken on with this in mind. Mamichor won well last time out when beating Colonel Cotton. He has a good draw and with his yard in form he will not be far away, Of the remainder Murrumbidgee is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but is hard to win with while October Ben is sure to have come on for his first run of the season and is another to note in the market, but Im Over Ere Dad has plenty of ticks in the right boxes and he will be hard to beat.
