An uncompetitive maiden and it will be a surprise if this doesn't go to Ripple Effect with Tedeska offering the only serious threat ahead of some disappointing rivals. Andrew Balding's charge showed some useful juvenile form and confirmed that a race of this nature is well within her compass when runner-up in a fair all-weather maiden at Lingfield on her seasonal return in April. The daughter of Elmaamul failed to hand the Fibresand surface at Wolverhampton next time but has twice put up creditable efforts in defeat since at Goodwood and Windsor. A reproduction of either performance should suffice at this lowly level. Mark Johnston has his Middleham team in excellent order at present so Tedeska has to be feared having shown bright speed on her recent debut at Redcar before fading in the closing stages. Sure to be better for the experience, she should provide the main opposition but Ripple Effect looks a safe bet to finally open her account.
