Jeremy Noseda's Progress ran too badly to be true at Lingfield when last seen in June but she is hard to back following that effort and looks best left out of calculations in a race taken to go to RUSSIAN RAVE. John Portman's filly has gone up 7lb for her win over six furlongs at Salisbury last month but she won with plenty in hand that day and will not be inconvenienced by the step up in distance today so looks worth siding with. Jim Boyle's Lady Kent has been running consistently well but seems a shade high in the weights, while John Dunlop has his string in good heart but Lathaat remains a maiden and is proving to be expensive to follow. Gary Moore's Spinning Bailiwick probably needs more help from the handicapper and a better bet looks to be Russian Rave.
