History suggests Stand Guard will need this first run in over four months while Zubova ran abysmally on Tuesday and therefore has questions to answer, so we'll side with GLEN SHIEL. Mark Johnston's gelding ran a fine race to take second to a revitalised rival at Ayr and runs off the same mark now switched to the all-weather. There are two concerns surrounding his chance, firstly that his sole try here resulted in heavy defeat and secondly that he's never raced beyond seven furlongs, but we're prepared to forgive the former and as he's the half-brother of a mile winner in America there's hope he'll get home here. Wigram's Turn should be monitored in the market as he's 9lbs lower than when fourth on his last start at the track while Cool Hand Jake needs to have found improvement for his seasonal reappearance if he's to add to his course and distance win.
