Mick Channon's The Human League rallied gamely to land an apprentices' handicap at Goodwood last week and he has every chance of following up that victory as he escapes a penalty but the faster ground today is a concern. Stable companion Universal Circus was well held in a claimer at Leicester on admittedly ground softer than ideal last month but is only 4lb higher than when scoring at Ffos Las the time before so he cannot be discounted. Gary Moore's Timeteam is probably better over six furlongs than the seven that he races over today and the vote goes the way of PRIZE POINT. Jim Boyle's gelding comes back after a long absence but the lightly raced four-year-old has been given a real chance by the handicapper for his reappearance and looks worth chancing.
